Invalid Username and Bad User Info Help

Fixing common connection problems:

• Closing Link: 1.2.3.4 (Invalid username [WHATEVER])
  This means that either your ident or email address listed in your IRC client is invalid. They should be something like user and user@host.com in your identd and email fields, respectively.
• Closing Link: 1.2.3.4 (Bad user info)
  This means that your "Real Name" in your IRC client includes invalid characters.

General Note:

All name/email/ident input values should be typable using a standard 101-key US keyboard without using control codes.

To view and modify the information above on a mIRC-based client, go to Tools -> Options -> Connect.
