Alright. Keep in mind this is only a rough job here (some quickly-cut spots are obvious, lol), but I can fine tune it if the staff likes the design. Just not going to waste the time doing it if you don't like it...

I also have a version with a transparent background.

And finally, I don't claim to be amazing (or even good for that matter) at this stuff. This was just to practice my skills.

EDIT: A better-sized version with more "natural" perspectives, rather than just two-tone colors.

    Hope you like :]

Was debating if I should wait and see what happens, or just post these. In the end, as you can see, I decided to post them.

I can provide the XCF later on if needed, as well as PNG versions.

Appropriate usage of negative space for readability and to keep the main focus of the logo on 'Rizon'. The catch-phrase 'where are you?' is kept in the width of 'Rizon' to make it the second read bit. No negative space used on the catch phrase to keep some contrast with 'Rizon'. IRC and NET are left to signify and reinforce the idea that Rizon is a IRC network to new users that may be visiting. The two URL sections are rotated vertically to not detract from the focus of the logo. They remain within range of the catch-phrase, in the corner of the viewer's eye when the phrase is read.

The colours used were kept within Rizon's official colours. A darker navy was chosen to increase the contrast in the logo to create more of an impact in the short time a viewer actually spends time looking at the logo before continuing to scan downwards. This dark navy is also suitable to be used as the font colour for text and headings, being visually distinct from black enough to be blue, but also dark enough to be read easily.

    Supplemental pallet,

If you would like to reach me, I am available via IRC(Nekorin) or by the email given for forum sign up.

Don't mind annie she is a grammar nazi... Personally I like your non-standard idea. Very IRC-like
