    Default +g

I've noticed more users are starting to utilize +g and +G.

But more commonly full on server side ignore with no exceptions.

What if +g could be tweaked to allow outgoing ctcp request to receive responses without /accepting the user before it was sent out?

Chris, we had a recent discussion about how CTCP messages are handled. Since outgoing CTCP requests are sent via PRIVMSG, they are blocked. Fun fact of the day, CTCP messages aren't actually part of the RFC ( Since it's not part of the RFC, there are no predefined requests / responses. And since a lot of clients display CTCP requests, spam could easily get through.. defeating a reason of umode g.

Bottom line is that it most likely will not happen, thanks for your suggestion.
