    Default Hmm..

    Hair and nails do not continue to grow after death. The skin recedes, making it appear to grow.


    Many sites list hair and nails continue to grow after death so wonder if this is true.

    Maybe it's a combination of both.

    If not, I am going with the skin shrinking take on it. Why would the body build when it is in a state of decomposition?
