Also note, using \ or _ in your nick will not allow the vhost to be set.

And another note: autoop ( on nickserv ) needs to be on for this to work as well ( this is on by default, if you have set it to off, change it back with /ns set autoop on ).

_ is fine. I have revised the script to remove other special characters that aren't allowed in vhosts so it should work now.

As noted above, NickServ's autoop needs to be turned on in order for it to work. Once you join the channel and get voiced, the color vhost will be given to you instantly and you can choose to stay in the channel or part afterwards.
