    Default Webchat Update

    As you may have noticed we have just upgraded our webchat software (qwebirc) to a newer version (accessible via http://qchat.rizon.net). Some of the changes include:

    * Full halfop support
    * SSL support to IRC server (accessible via https://qchat.rizon.net/)
    * The ability to hide the quit popup
    * reCAPTCHA support to counter against attacks

    This is only a handful of changes introduced into the new version. For the full list, go to http://code.rizon.net/qchat/src/tip/trunk/ChangeLog.

    As always, if you have any questions about our webchat feel free to drop in to #qchat.

    The reCAPTCHA is turned on when needed. Obviously we won't annoy users with CAPTCHA when there's no need to

    Not sure if it's due to this upgrade, but qweb worked for me a couple of weeks ago, and now it won't connect.
    I don't think anything has changed at my end, and a friend say he has the same problem.

    It is indeed a server side problem, wait a while for darkex to take a look on it.

    Seems the server config is new/different, not related to code.

    The OS and everything on that specific server was reinstalled earlier today.
    WHich means the config for the IRCd is a default one right now, gotta wait for its' owner to restore a copy of the config.

    Hello all,
    Just wanted to let qchat users know that there is a beta version which is available at http://nullwolfie.org:3989/ . It is very important that we get feedback about qchat so we can implement more features/fix issues. Please submit an issue or feature @ http://code.rizon.net/qchat/
    Thank you very much,
